We are looking for a Systematics Business Analyst to support a large-scale divestiture initiative at a top-tier U.S. commercial bank. The analyst will play a key role in extracting, validating, and transitioning data from the bank’s legacy Systematics core banking platform, ensuring a smooth and compliant migration to the acquiring entity. This is a critical role in a high-impact project with long-term transformation implications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document current business processes and data structures within **Systematics (IM, ST, AM, RM)**modules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data extraction and transition requirements.
- Conduct fit-gap analyses and support data mapping exercises between source and target systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and risk guidelines during the divestiture process.
- Work closely with technical teams to validate extracted data and support testing and reconciliation efforts.
- Assist with knowledge transfer, documentation, and stakeholder reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking, with a strong focus on Systematics core banking systems.
- Deep understanding of Systematics modules (IM, ST, AM, RM) and their interdependencies.
- Experience with banking divestitures, acquisitions, or core system deconversions.
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with business, technical, and compliance teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on data migration, archival, and extraction projects in a regulated banking environment.
- Familiarity with structured and unstructured data handling, especially in the context of core system transitions.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance in divestiture or acquisition contexts.
