We are looking for a Systematics Business Analyst to support the deconversion and data extraction workstream as part of a major bank divestiture initiative at a leading U.S. financial institution. This role is crucial to enabling the secure and compliant extraction of customer data from the legacy Systematics core banking platform, ensuring a smooth transition to the acquiring institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of data extraction and archival processes from the Systematics platform.
- Collaborate with data teams, compliance, and third-party recipients to ensure data accuracy, structure, and security.
- Define and validate business and technical requirements for account, transaction, and customer data across all Systematics modules.
- Coordinate with project managers and technical leads to ensure timelines and integration points are met.
- Document current-state and future-state processes as part of knowledge transfer and compliance reporting.
- Participate in UAT, issue resolution, and cutover readiness activities related to Systematics data.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the banking industry.
- Strong expertise in Systematics (IM, ST, AM, RM) modules.
- Prior experience with bank divestitures, data extractions, or deconversion projects.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements surrounding data retention, delivery, and archival during divestiture.
- Experience in large-scale M&A projects or system sunsets.
- Understanding of mainframe environments and batch data processing.
- Exposure to project governance tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or Confluence.
