A tier-one global bank is seeking a Systems Operations Senior Manager to join its technology operations team.

About the Role
This position is responsible for leading and managing systems operations activities, ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of critical technology infrastructure. The Senior Manager will oversee operational processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and manage a team of technical professionals supporting enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage systems operations teams responsible for maintaining and supporting production environments
- Oversee monitoring, incident management, and problem resolution activities to ensure optimal system availability and performance
- Develop and implement operational procedures, standards, and best practices
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including application development, infrastructure, and security
- Manage capacity planning and performance tuning activities
- Drive automation and operational efficiency initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Provide leadership in incident response and crisis management situations
- Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements
- Prepare and present operational metrics and reports to senior leadership
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Extensive experience in systems operations, infrastructure management, or related technical operations roles
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems architecture and operations
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and hybrid infrastructure environments
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages
- ITIL certification or other relevant technical certifications
- Experience with incident management and change management processes
Compensation: $159,000.00 – $305,000.00
