A tier-one global bank is seeking a Technology Governance and Delivery Lead at the Vice President level to drive application systems delivery and governance across enterprise technology initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring strong alignment between business objectives and technology execution while maintaining high standards of governance, delivery discipline, and system integration. The ideal candidate will lead complex programs, enhance application systems, and contribute to building scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions across a global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Delivery & Execution
- Lead application systems analysis, development, and delivery activities across complex initiatives
- Drive implementation of new systems, enhancements, and process improvements
- Ensure delivery aligns with enterprise architecture and business goals
Governance & Standards
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks for application development and delivery
- Define and maintain standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
- Ensure adherence to enterprise policies, regulatory requirements, and risk controls
Stakeholder Collaboration & Integration
- Partner with business, technology, and operations teams to align delivery with strategic objectives
- Facilitate integration across architecture, infrastructure, and operational functions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful outcomes
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze and resolve complex, high-impact business and system challenges
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements
- Apply industry best practices to improve delivery efficiency and effectiveness
Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Ensure application design aligns with enterprise architecture blueprints
- Leverage deep knowledge of system flows and application programming
- Contribute to the development of scalable, resilient, and secure technology solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technology delivery, application development, or systems programming within financial services
- Strong understanding of application architecture, system integration, and development frameworks
- Experience establishing governance standards and delivery processes
- Ability to analyze complex systems and drive high-impact solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience within tier-one global banking or highly regulated environments
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models
- Knowledge of modern development practices, including Agile and DevOps
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, operations, and system integration across platforms
