About the Role:
A regional bank in New Jersey is seeking a Senior Test Manager to lead end-to-end testing efforts for a high-visibility Core Banking Transformation program. This critical role supports the successful delivery of a complex core platform migration by overseeing comprehensive test strategy and execution across internal teams and vendors. Reporting directly to the Program Director, the Test Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring system readiness, regulatory compliance, and delivery quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities across all program phases.
- Define and drive test strategies, plans, and execution frameworks.
- Oversee test lifecycle phases including unit, SIT, UAT, regression, and cutover validation.
- Collaborate with IT, business, and vendor teams to align on testing milestones and issue resolution.
- Track and report progress, risks, and defects to senior leadership in a clear, concise manner.
- Manage test environments, data reconciliation processes, and compliance-driven validations.
- Utilize test management and documentation tools such as HP ALM, Zephyr, TestRail, JIRA, Excel, SharePoint, and Confluence.
Required Qualifications:
- Senior-level experience in test management, particularly within banking or financial services.
- Prior leadership of core system migration testing efforts (e.g., FIS, Fiserv, Temenos, Jack Henry).
- Strong familiarity with the full software testing lifecycle and associated methodologies.
- Ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and manage vendor interactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (required for this role).

- Deep understanding of test data management and automation strategies.
- Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven testing frameworks.
- Proven ability to deliver under pressure with high attention to detail.
- Effective stakeholder management and presentation abilities.
- Strong documentation and issue tracking capabilities using enterprise tools.
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid (2–3 days on-site per week in New Jersey)
