A specialty bank serving US military families is seeking a Transformation Manager Principal to lead enterprise-wide member value initiatives and strategic transformation programs. This role is focused on enhancing member experience, improving operational efficiency, and driving measurable business outcomes through large-scale organizational transformation efforts.

The Transformation Manager Principal will partner closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams to design and execute strategic initiatives that modernize operations, improve service delivery, and strengthen member engagement. The ideal candidate will bring strong transformation leadership, program execution expertise, and the ability to influence enterprise-wide change across highly collaborative environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives from strategy development through implementation and operational adoption
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to define program scope, objectives, success metrics, and business outcomes
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive transformation program plans including:
    • Resource allocation
    • Timelines and milestones
    • Governance structures
    • Risk mitigation strategies
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across business units, operations, and technology organizations to ensure delivery alignment and execution success
  • Establish governance frameworks, reporting standards, and executive dashboards to track transformation progress and outcomes
  • Identify, assess, and resolve complex issues, risks, and dependencies that may impact delivery timelines or business objectives
  • Lead organizational change management activities to support successful adoption of new processes, systems, and operating models
  • Analyze program performance and provide strategic recommendations to support continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Mentor and guide junior transformation team members while promoting execution discipline and collaborative leadership
  • Deliver executive-level communications regarding program status, risks, outcomes, and strategic recommendations
  • Support member-focused innovation initiatives that improve customer experience, operational scalability, and enterprise effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in program management, project management, business transformation, or related disciplines
  • Proven track record leading large-scale, complex enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Program and project management methodologies
    • Transformation delivery frameworks
    • Governance and execution best practices
  • Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change across highly matrixed environments
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience applying organizational change management principles and practices
  • Proficiency with program management tools, reporting systems, and collaboration technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in Business or related field
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project/program management certification
  • Experience within financial services, banking, or credit union environments
  • Familiarity with Agile, Lean, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience supporting digital transformation and operational modernization initiatives
  • Background in process optimization, operational excellence, or customer/member experience transformation

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid — 4 days onsite per week

Compensation:

$164,780 – $296,610 per year
