A commercial bank is seeking a Senior Vendor Management Manager to oversee vendor relationships supporting ongoing maintenance, support, and managed services across its technology and operations landscape. This role is essential to ensuring third-party vendors deliver consistent value, meet contractual obligations, and comply with banking regulatory and risk standards.

The Vendor Management Manager will serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external service providers, helping optimize vendor performance while supporting long-term operational stability and cost efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee vendor relationships supporting core banking and managed services operations.
  • Lead contract administration, renewals, and performance management for key service providers.
  • Coordinate with internal technology, operations, and risk teams to align vendor services with business needs.
  • Monitor vendor SLAs, KPIs, and service delivery metrics.
  • Support issue resolution, escalation management, and continuous service improvement efforts.
  • Ensure vendor compliance with banking regulations, internal controls, and risk management standards.
  • Assist with procurement activities, vendor onboarding, and contract-to-hire transition planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Senior-level experience in vendor management, procurement, or third-party risk management within banking or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of managed services, maintenance contracts, and vendor governance models.
  • Experience working with core banking platforms, particularly DNA (FIS) or similar systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and contracts simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • English language proficiency.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting regulated financial environments with strict compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with contract-to-hire workforce models.
  • Background collaborating with legal, risk, and compliance teams.
  • Experience improving vendor performance frameworks and cost optimization initiatives.
