A large Northeast regional bank is seeking a Vice President and Managing Director, Digital Assets and Tokenized Technology to lead the development of next generation digital asset and tokenization capabilities.

This role involves defining and delivering the enterprise technology strategy that unlocks new market infrastructure, drives innovation in transaction banking, and positions a large Northeast regional bank at the forefront of emerging financial ecosystems. Operating at the intersection of strategy, engineering, and regulatory leadership, this position offers significant enterprise visibility and the opportunity to build and scale a transformative platform. Reporting to the Vice President, Value Creation Plan Technology Lead, the successful candidate will play a critical leadership role in translating a bold vision into secure, scalable, and commercially viable solutions. The Vice President and Managing Director is accountable for defining and delivering the enterprise technology strategy, architecture, and execution roadmap for tokenized deposits and broader digital asset capabilities across Transaction Banking and Payments.

Strategy, Architecture and Platform Ownership:

  • Own the end to end enterprise technology strategy and roadmap for tokenized deposits and digital assets, linked to clear business outcomes and value realization.
  • Act as design authority across core components including distributed ledgers, smart contracts, wallets, integration layers, and enterprise platforms.
  • Define platform standards, reference architectures, and scalability pathways for enterprise adoption.

Engineering Delivery and Platform Build:

  • Lead engineering delivery of a production grade tokenized deposits platform, ensuring resilience, scalability, and secure SDLC practices.
  • Oversee integration with core banking systems including General Ledger, deposits, payments, and reconciliation to ensure integrity between on chain and system of record activity.
  • Establish operating model and governance frameworks to enable rapid yet controlled delivery.

Risk, Controls and Regulatory Readiness:

  • Embed security by design principles into the platform architecture.

Compensation: $275,000 – $375,000 /yr
