A tier-one global bank is seeking a Wealth Technology Application Development Lead, Senior Vice President.

Location: Hybrid – Jersey City, NJ

Role Overview:

The Wealth Technology Application Development Lead will be responsible for leading application development initiatives within the Wealth Technology organization. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can drive technology solutions that support wealth management business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage application development teams in delivering technology solutions for wealth management platforms
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and support
  • Drive architecture decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations as needed
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure applications
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, and operations
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in wealth management technology

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in application development with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong experience with wealth management or financial services technology platforms
  • Proven track record of delivering complex technology projects
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies including Agile and DevOps
  • Experience with modern application development frameworks and technologies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in relevant field
  • Experience with cloud technologies and migration initiatives
  • Knowledge of wealth management business processes and workflows
  • Prior experience in a large, complex financial institution

Compensation: $176,720.00 – $265,080.00
