A tier-one global bank is seeking a Wealth Technology Application Development Lead, Senior Vice President.
Location: Hybrid – Jersey City, NJ
Role Overview:
The Wealth Technology Application Development Lead will be responsible for leading application development initiatives within the Wealth Technology organization. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can drive technology solutions that support wealth management business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage application development teams in delivering technology solutions for wealth management platforms
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and support
- Drive architecture decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations as needed
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure applications
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, and operations
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in wealth management technology
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in application development with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong experience with wealth management or financial services technology platforms
- Proven track record of delivering complex technology projects
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies including Agile and DevOps
- Experience with modern application development frameworks and technologies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in relevant field
- Experience with cloud technologies and migration initiatives
- Knowledge of wealth management business processes and workflows
- Prior experience in a large, complex financial institution
Compensation: $176,720.00 – $265,080.00
