Project Governance / PMO Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Governance / PMO Consultant to join a member-owned credit union in Delaware. This senior-level role is integral to the implementation and lifecycle management of the Symitar core banking system and its migration. Reporting directly to the CIO, the consultant will provide critical support throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely and efficient execution of key milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide governance and oversight for the implementation of the Correlation core banking system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in project management and core banking system conversions.
• Support the CIO in strategic decision-making and operational oversight.
• Lead planning, dry runs, and conversion weekends, with a commitment to full lifecycle involvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Senior-level experience in project governance, PMO leadership, and core banking system conversions.
• Proven track record of completing at least two bank conversion projects, including one for a credit union.
• Strong familiarity with Symitar and Correlation Keystone systems.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication with stakeholders.

• Expertise in managing hybrid work arrangements, with a mix of onsite and remote work.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to high standards of quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid (2 days onsite and 3 remote on average; full onsite during critical stages such as dry runs and conversion weekends).

Contract Details:

• 12+ months consulting contract.
• Competitive hourly rate: $105-$115.
• Start date: February 10, 2025.
