We are seeking an experienced Core Banking Manager to join a community bank in Delaware. This mid-level to senior-level role involves managing and maintaining the bank’s core banking system, with a focus on ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and vendor coordination. The position requires strong leadership and technical expertise to oversee the core system and support the bank’s long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison with the core banking vendor to address issues, manage releases, and ensure the bank remains compliant with release schedules.
- Track and communicate system enhancements and bug fixes to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with departments to identify and prioritize new core projects.
- Manage a team of Core Administrators and Business Analysts to ensure system efficiency.
- Develop and communicate detailed project plans for core-related initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing core banking systems, preferably DNA Core.
- 10+ years of experience in the banking industry with a focus on core system management.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, including cross-departmental collaboration.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities to effectively manage vendor relationships and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in tracking and managing system changes, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in core system release management tools and processes.
- Ability to ensure compliance with vendor schedules and banking regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills to support the optimization of core systems.
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid (initially more onsite, transitioning to one day onsite per week).
