A consumer-focused retail bank in Arizona is seeking a mid-level to senior-level Bank Infrastructure Consultant to support a core banking platform consolidation and rationalization project. The consultant will play a critical role in assessing, optimizing, and integrating the bank’s technology stack as part of a bank acquisition initiative. This position requires expertise in Hogan Systematics, infrastructure rationalization, and server consolidation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a full inventory analysis of the bank’s 1,000+ servers, hardware, databases, and interfaces.
- Work closely with the CTO and technology teams to assess infrastructure needs and rationalize obsolete systems.
- Design and implement a leaner, scalable infrastructure that integrates the technology stacks of both banks.
- Identify redundant or outdated servers and develop a migration/decommissioning strategy.
- Collaborate with infrastructure architects to improve system efficiency and performance.
- Document workflows, system dependencies, and technical roadmaps for the consolidation process.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure consulting or banking technology consolidation.
- Expertise in Hogan Systematics core banking infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of server consolidation, database migration, and infrastructure architecture.
- Experience working in banking technology environments, particularly in mergers and acquisitions.
- Ability to collaborate with CTOs and technology leaders to design and implement infrastructure strategies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data center migrations and cloud integrations.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
- Familiarity with core banking system integrations and banking regulatory requirements.
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid (Mostly remote with occasional onsite visits to data centers).

Contract Details:
- 12-month contract (6 months to start, W2 only).
- Competitive rate: Dependent on Experience (DOE).
