We’re hiring a Market Research Analyst to support the development of our Market Outlook reports across risk, compliance, payments, and innovation. This role is ideal for someone who’s worked inside a bank or in banking-focused consulting and has a solid grasp of both retail and commercial products, processes, and tech.
In this role, you’ll:
- Conduct research across industry publications, vendor materials, regulatory updates, and strategic white papers
- Interview subject matter experts and summarize key takeaways
- Distill raw research into structured summaries that feed into reports, decks, and insight libraries
- Work closely with our internal consulting and editorial teams to identify patterns and trends
- Maintain a living database of sources and insight themes

Key Responsibilities:
- Research and synthesize trends in retail and commercial banking
- Collect data from industry reports, vendor publications, and regulatory updates
- Conduct and summarize interviews with banking SMEs and thought leaders
- Organize insights into briefs and frameworks to support Market Outlook papers
- Maintain structured database of research sources and insight themes
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in or consulting to retail and commercial banking
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to conduct interviews and translate qualitative data into structured insights
- Familiarity with banking regulations, operations, and product strategy
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting or writing market research, white papers, or consulting briefs
- Familiarity with competitive analysis or vendor landscape mapping
- Competency using tools like Notion, Google Sheets, and modern AI research tools (e.g., Perplexity, ChatGPT)
Work Arrangement:
- Fully remote, flexible hours
- Preference for candidates in US or Latin America time zones
Contract Details:
- Freelance / Contract (3–6 months with potential to extend)
- Hourly rate: $75–$85/hr based on experience
