About the Role:
A leading commercial financial services firm is seeking a Senior Cutover Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of a large-scale M&A IT integration cutover. This role is essential to orchestrating the transition of infrastructure, systems, and user access from legacy environments to a unified post-merger state. The position demands precision, structure, and calm leadership during critical go-live events and requires strong coordination with technical and business stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the cutover strategy and execution for post-merger system transitions.
- Develop and manage cutover runbooks, logistics plans, and execution playbooks.
- Coordinate cutover rehearsals, go/no-go checkpoints, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
- Track technical dependencies and risks across infrastructure, applications, and data flows.
- Drive real-time execution via a centralized cutover command center, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Manage escalations, readiness checklists, and weekend/overnight transition events.
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors for seamless delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Senior-level IT project or program management experience (minimum 8+ years).
- Demonstrated success managing complex cutover events in large-scale IT integrations.
- Experience in financial services or commercial insurance environments preferred.
- Deep understanding of M&A integration timelines, technical dependencies, and risk protocols.
- Fluency in English with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with cutover rehearsal coordination, parallel processing risk mitigation, and go-live procedures.
- Skilled in tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel, Confluence, and change coordination frameworks.
- Calm under pressure during high-stakes events, with strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
- Prior experience managing dependencies across core systems, infrastructure, and data.

Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite in Purchase, NY
