We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst / Functional Consultant to support a core banking enhancement projectat a respected Regional Bank. This role plays a vital function in refining and extending the capabilities of the Hogan core banking platform, focusing specifically on deposit systems. As a mid-level consultant, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to capture requirements, analyze business needs, and deliver scalable improvements across operational banking processes .
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to define and validate enhancement requirements.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the Hogan Deposits system, identifying functional improvement opportunities.
- Document functional specifications, use cases, and user stories aligned with enhancement goals.
- Support the full software development lifecycle from discovery through to implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business needs are met in technical solutions.
- Facilitate testing efforts to validate enhancements meet business expectations .
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in banking environments.
- Strong knowledge of Hogan core banking systems, especially the Deposits module.
- Familiarity with financial regulatory compliance in banking systems.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting .
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Hogan Umbrella or other Hogan modules.
- Background in core banking enhancements or transformation projects.
- Functional understanding of system integration and testing methodologies.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum practices or structured business process analysis .
