With over three decades of deep technology delivery experience in financial services and a reputation for transforming legacy complexity into lean execution, Ben brings a powerful blend of engineering rigor and strategic leadership to our advisory bench.
For more than 30 years, Ben has been at the forefront of enterprise technology delivery across major financial institutions. His career spans application development, operations management, regulatory transformation and large-scale technology programs that ensure critical systems run smoothly, securely, and cost-effectively. His broad experience and calm under pressure make him a trusted partner in times of complexity and change.
During his tenure at Citibank, Ben served as Application Development Director, where he oversaw 60+ applications spanning core banking, customer communications, check processing, regulatory reporting, and automation. He managed distributed delivery teams across the U.S. and offshore hubs, led multiple data center migrations, and achieved significant operational cost savings through successful vendor negotiations and operational streamlining.
Ben’s expertise also includes legacy platform modernization, item processing, KYC and compliance operations, and enterprise print and document management. Over the past 12 years, he has worked extensively as a solution architect and designer—leading the definition of end-to-end system architectures that translate complex business and regulatory requirements into practical, scalable technology solutions. His architectural approach emphasizes buildability, operational resilience, and long-term sustainability across legacy and modern platforms.

Ben holds advanced degrees in Applied Mathematics and began his career as a research associate at NASA. Outside of client work, you might find him analyzing political trends or deep in conversation about economic history—with a knack for making the complex seem simple.
